Prabhas Reduces Fees for Kalki 2898 AD, Check out more!
In a recent development regarding “Kalki 2898 AD,” reports have surfaced that Telugu action star Prabhas has significantly reduced his fee for his sci-fi/action film role.
Prabhas, a phenomenon in the South Indian film industry, is renowned for his action-packed roles and is one of the highest-grossing actors of our time. With blockbuster hits such as “Baahubali: The Beginning” (2015), “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion” (2017), and “Salaar” (2023), his star power is undeniable.
Given his tremendous box office success, it’s no surprise that Prabhas commands substantial salaries for his work. Initially, he charged an impressive Rs 150 crore for “Kalki 2898 AD.” However, recent reports indicate that the actor has now reduced his fee to Rs 80 crore.
The reason behind this drastic pay cut remains unclear. Speculation about the cause is as elusive as the secrets of a black hole. Nonetheless, this isn’t the first time Prabhas has adjusted his salary for a film.
According to Siasat Daily, following the monumental success of the “Baahubali” series, Prabhas has opted not to charge any fee for his upcoming movie “Raja Deluxe,” scheduled for release in 2025. Although the motivations behind these decisions are uncertain, fans have grown to admire Prabhas even more for his humility and dedication, further cementing his status as a benchmark in the film industry.
