RGV’s next film Ladki to release on July 15.
The movie “Ladki” by Ram Gopal Varma will debut on July 15.
The release date of director Ram Gopal Varma‘s movie Ladki: Girl Dragon, which stars Pooja Bhalekar, a former martial artist turned actress, was revealed on Monday.
The movie will release on Big screens on July 15. The director also disclosed that the movie will have the biggest simultaneous release of any Indian film, noting that the Chinese version of the movie will debut on more than 40000 screens in China. The press conference was held at the JW Marriott in Mumbai.
In addition to Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, the movie is also being released in Telugu in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
“Up to this point, it is my most ambitious film. Since I was a young child, I have admired Bruce Lee greatly and have practiced martial arts. However, July 15 is the day I fulfill my dream and make the movie publicly available. It is nothing short of a dream come true, and I even shot the movie in China with some Chinese actors,” says RGV.
Bruce Lee seems to be liking the real LADKI on the left more than her image in the mirror ..It could be because he feels @PoojaBofficial ‘s got a body as good as his ..U decide for urself on July 15 th in theatres pic.twitter.com/L7dzKj09UC

Instead of casting actors and teaching them the fundamentals, the director even took a risk by hiring a martial artist and training her in acting. ” Pooja Bhalekar struck me as having an awesomely talented personality and the glamour element to go along with her fantastic martial arts skills. She was an obvious choice for me to cast,” adds RGV.
Pooja is overjoyed to be the one bringing RGV’s desire to create a movie—possibly a hybrid between Rangeela and Bruce Lee’s Enter The Dragon—to life. A girl is forced to decide between her true love and her obstinate pursuit of her love for Bruce Lee in the movie. I’m honored that RGV sir chose me to fulfill his vision of casting me as a Bruce Lee supporter in a movie on his ideology, says Pooja.
